In a 2012 physician member survey conducted by the International Urogynecological Association (IUGA), over 500 doctors were questioned about their patient’s attitudes toward vulvovaginal laxity (vaginal “looseness”) with findings that made our jaws drops. Of the 563 respondents, 95% believed that vaginal laxity greatly affected sexual function in patients, and 54% considered it to greatly affect quality of life in patients.
