While pregnancy can be a joyous time, it can also present some odd symptoms and fears.

From Jenna Dewan-Tatum‘s hormonal dreams, to Kim Kardashian‘s wacky food cravings, to Kristin Cavallari‘s delivery dilemma, let’s hear from 7 celebrity moms and their pregnancy confessions.

Kim Kardashian:

Kim Kardashian and boyfriend Kanye West welcomed their first child – daughter North West – on June 15. The first-time mom admitted that pregnancy wasn’t exactly a walk in the park.

“Being pregnant is not as easy as my sister [Kourtney Kardashian] made it look or as my mom [Kris Jenner] has made it look,” she admitted.

As for her pregnancy cravings? “I’m craving carrots and ranch dressing,” she said. “I used to love sweets, I used to love chocolate, can’t even eat chocolate!”

Jenna Dewan-Tatum:

Handsome couple Jenna Dewan-Tatum and Channing Tatum welcomed their first child – daughter Everly – on May 31. During her pregnancy, Jenna shared a wacky pregnancy dream.

“OK my fellow preggars ladies.. about these hormonal dreams,” she posted via Twitter. “Is it normal to fly on a magic carpet while presenting at Golden Globes?? Lol.”

Kristin Cavallari:

Kristin Cavallari‘s birth plan didn’t exactly go as she had hoped when it was time to deliver Camden, her first child with Jay Cutler.

“[Childbirth] hurt like a bitch and felt like period cramps, but 10 times worse,” Kristin said.

And when it came time to deliver her son, she didn’t want her football star hubby to see the birth. “I was like, ‘You’re going to be behind me. You’re not going to see anything,’” she said. “And the nurse was like, ‘Oh, no, no. He’s going to hold your leg. I was like, ‘Oh, no he’s not.’ She was like, ‘It’s different when it’s your own.’”

Snooki:

In her signature quirky style, Nicole “Snooki” Polizzi gave graphic details of her son Lorenzo’s August 2012 birth.

“When my water broke, I thought it would be like [gushing],” she shared.

Snooki added: “But I was just like, peeing my pants every two seconds. I didn’t know what was going on! I couldn’t control it, and I was like ‘I think my water broke.’ I was in labor for 27 hours, but I didn’t feel anything because I got the epidural.”

Jessica Simpson:

New mom-of-two Jessica Simpson accidentally revealed the gender of her second baby – son Ace Knute – in March 2013.

“The crazy thing is I never knew a wiener could make me nauseous,” Jessica quipped.

She added: “It’s a totally different pregnancy. I just feel awful, I’ve been vomiting,” said Jessica, also mom to 16-month-old daughter Maxwell with fiancé Eric Johnson.

Kristen Bell:

Star couple Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard welcomed their first child – daughter Lincoln – on March 28.

“I’ve got nothing to prove” by giving birth naturally, she joked in January. “I feel like, when I arrive at the hospital, I want a glass of whiskey, I want the epidural in my back and I want to get hit in the face with a baseball bat and wake me up when it’s over because I’ve seen the videos—and it looks terrifying.”

That being said, she loved pregnancy and said her “self-esteem has never been higher.”

“I look in the mirror and I think it’s the reverse body dysmorphia,” she added, “because I can understand what my shape is, but I see Brooke Shields. And it doesn’t make a lick of sense, but it’s something that the baby’s giving me hormonally makes me feel really giggly and happy.”

Megan Fox:

This is 40 star Megan Fox opened up about giving birth naturally to her son Noah Shannon.

“I was screaming for an epidural when Brian was driving me to the hospital because my water broke on its own,” the actress said of Noah’s September 27 birth. “It was level orange alert pain.”

With husband Brian Austin Green by her side, Megan (currently pregnant with the couple’s second child) said the pain was “horrific.”

“It hurts so bad,” she shared. “It was so intense. And I thought I was gonna be really tough and make it, I was gonna labor to like 8 cm . . . but the first contraction that I got was horrific!”

And it sounds like the pain left no time for beautifying pre-birth.

“I had wet hair so I was trying to blow dry my hair before I went to the hospital,” she laughed. “I didn’t want to go to the hospital with wet hair!”

It’s not often that we choose one celebrity to showcase their maternity style. But when it comes to Gwen Stefani, it’s a no-brainer.

From chic tunics and leggings, to statement jackets and heels, to glam red carpet gowns, the No Doubt front woman, 44, has been knocking our socks off with her outstanding ensembles.

Let’s take a look at Gwen’s top 10 maternity looks – so far – while expecting her third son with husband Gavin Rossdale.

While we were still speculating her pregnancy in early September, Gwen donned a shredded tank while out and about in Studio City, Calif., giving us a peekaboo look at her possible baby bump.

In late September (still during the baby bump speculation), the Spiderwebs singer stepped out with 5-year-old son Zuma in Yorba Linda, Calif. Sporting black leggings, heels, and a stylish long top hiding her growing belly, Gwen was all smiles as she headed to a baby shower with her youngest son.

In mid-October, Gwen radiated the red carpet at the Wallis Annenberg Center For The Performing Arts Inaugural Gala in Beverly Hills, Calif. Accompanied by her husband of 11 years, rocker Gavin Rossdale, the Cool singer dressed her growing baby bump in a floor-length Ferragamo dress with fringe detail.

In early November, the expectant mama looked simply radiant as she headed into a baby shower in Los Feliz, Calif. Joined by her hubby, the No Doubt frontwoman wore a printed maxi maternity dress paired with a floral headpiece.

Gwen was simply glowing while dropping off her son Zuma at school in Studio City, Calif. in early November. Dressing her growing baby bump in a loose-fitting gray top, plaid jacket, skinny jeans and heels, the Just a Girl singer looked chic as always.

In mid-November, Gwen and Gavin stepped out in Los Angeles, Calif. The expectant parents were seen in Chinatown before visiting an office in Studio City. The stylish mom-to-be kept cozy in a Seraphine Shakira Double Zip Wool Maternity Coat during their outing.

Gwen and Gavin were spotted with their two sons –Kingston, 7, and Zuma, 5 – in Hollywood, Calif. in late November. Joined by the family pooch, the group were seen arriving at Gwen’s parents’ home to celebrate Thanksgiving. Dressed in a red coat to match her signature lips, the No Doubt front woman accessorized with black leggings, boots, bag and shades.

The expectant mama stepped out in style in early December while lunching with No Doubt bandmate Tony Kanal at Crossroads Vegan restaurant in West Hollywood, Calif. Looking simply radiant in an all black outfit, Gwen accessorized her chic ensemble with a white coat and red boots.

Dressed in matching black and white outfits, Gwen and her sons Kingston and Zuma stepped out for Christmas Eve mass in Los Angeles, Calif. While the singer wore a monochromatic maternity dress to church, the boys donned dapper striped pants and matching bow ties.

The expectant mama shared a super-chic selfie via Twitter. “bump it #allblack #inappropriateshoes #capturethemoment #miracle,” Gwen captioned her pregnant pose in late January. Looking simply radiant, the soon-to-be mom-of-three posed in front of a mirror with her iPhone, showing off her burgeoning belly in a form-fitting black Seraphine tunic over black leggings.

While Gwen gives us so many stunning ensembles to choose from, which is your favorite maternity look so far?

It’s a Hollywood baby boom. And what better way to celebrate high-profile baby bumps than with funky fashions?!

From Kate Middleton‘s pretty trends, to Kim Kardashian‘s bold statements, to Jenna Dewan-Tatum‘s feminin chic fashions, let’s take a look at the top maternity styles from 10 pregnant celebrities.

Kate Middleton:

We’ve only caught a glimpse of Kate Middleton‘s maternity style with two different outfits — but so far, we approve! After leaving the hospital in December, Kate looked chic in a navy coat accessorized with a light blue scarf while holding a bouquet of yellow roses. And last month, we caught our first glimpse of her barely there belly in a gray Max Mara wrap dress. All eyes will be on the Duchess of Cambridge, 31, in the following months as her baby bump continues to grow.

Kristen Bell:

From Hollywood glam, to skinny jeans and scarves, to feminin floral dresses, Kristen Bell has dressed to impress during her first pregnancy. At the Golden Globe Awards in January, the House of Lies star, 32, radiated the red carpet in an embellished floor-length  Jenny Packham gown.

Holly Madison:

Mom-to-be Holly Madison has been hitting the Las Vegas circuit over the past few months. Embracing her growing belly in form fitting dresses, the Playboy model, 33, has been rocking her baby bump on the red carpet.

Malin Akerman:

From rocker chic, to maxi dresses and scarves, to red carpet radiant, Malin Akerman has been leading the way in top maternity trends this season. In November, the Rock of Ages actress, 32, wowed in an all black ensemble while showcasing her barely there baby bump. As her belly has grown, she has embraced the curves with tight dresses and tops. Such a stunning mom-to-be!

Fergie:

Black Eyed Peas frontwoman Fergie announced her pregnancy news last month. And since then, all eyes have been on the singer-fashion designer, 37, as she dresses her lovely baby bump. From all black chic, to layers and scarves, to flowing and feminin, the Grammy Award-winning singer is mixing up the maternity trends during her first pregnancy.

Kim Kardashian:

She’s received quite a lot of buzz about her maternity style so far! But what else would you expect from the 32-year-old reality star, Kim Kardashian? She wowed in white on the red carpet, she raised eyebrows in high-waisted peplum pants, and she even wore a see-through blouse during her first pregnancy. We can’t wait to see how the mom-to-be continues to dress her growing baby bump.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum:

Mom-to-be Jenna Dewan-Tatum has been dressing her growing belly in feminin maxi dresses, skinny jeans and layers, and even glam red carpet gowns. Always adding the perfect denim jacket or accessory, the Step Up star, 32, has been dressing to impress during her first pregnancy.

Jessica Simpson:

During her second pregnancy, Jessica Simpson has looked radiant in black fitted outfits, partnered with chic jackets. From a pretty pink blazer, to modern military jackets, the singer-turned-fashion-designer, 32, is keeping things trendy as her baby bump grows.
